Message from the President:
We are fast approaching the busiest time of the year, Golf Week. Let’s all pray for a change in this awful weather, only this morning I saw a neighbour taking his dog for a walk with a dog coat on and himself dressed for December with a woolly hat!! Unheard of for the 1st of June.
I am sure we will all enjoy the BBQ on the first Saturday organised by the Social committee who all work hard to put on a good show. As other years there is a choice of Steak, Chicken or Sausages followed by Strawberries & cream. This year we have a bouncy castle and music from Terry Harnett, so come along and enjoy. The Ladies are preparing the food on the Wednesday with myself, the Captain & vice serving, all dressed for the part!
Friday the 10th is prize giving night. Please come along & give your support. We have a disco for the evening so the enjoyment can carry on after prize giving. The food for the evening is Paella or Chilli followed by Strawberries & Cream, so get your name up.
Let’s hope the weather Gods are kind to us but being hardy Whitstable golfers enjoy your game.
